BattleMap
Browser-only terrain and defensive planning
Paste a map link or coordinates and get a terrain map with 30 m elevation, hillshade and contours. Place observation posts, cameras, relays and barriers, see real line-of-sight coverage, and let the rule-based planner propose placements.
Overview
Small-unit planning still happens on paper maps or in tools that need accounts, servers and network access the unit may not have.
Terrain
Elevation, hillshade, colour relief and client-side contours from open data.
Line of sight
Radial viewshed with earth curvature, point-to-point LOS and radio coverage gated by LOS.
Planner
Finds avenues of approach, chokepoints and high ground; proposes placements with a written rationale.
Offline-first
Runs in the browser. Plans persist locally and export to GeoJSON or KML.
